Our Padappakkara unit is devoted to crafting high-quality stone articles, such as pergolas, benches, swings, Thulasi tharas, stone fountains, pillar designs and bespoke architectural stone elements. Manned by traditional craftsmen and modern stone-working equipment, this unit ensures timeless artistry with structural strength.

Selection of Land & Soil Preparation:
Well-drained, red or loamy soil is ideal. Proper spacing and protection from grazing animals are ensured.
Planting of Seedlings:
Healthy sandalwood child plants are planted alongside host plants (like pigeon pea or neem) to support semi-parasitic growth.
Care & Maintenance:
Regular watering, pruning, pest control, and monitoring are critical in the initial years. Growth accelerates after 4–5 years.
Heartwood Formation:
The heartwood and oil begin forming after 10–15 years. This is the most valuable part of the tree.
Harvest & Sale:
Once mature (12–15 years), trees are harvested under legal guidelines. Wood and oil are sold to licensed buyers or government-authorized agencies at premium rates.
